Cadastral survey software

Model Maker Systems develops state of the art software for use by surveyors and civil engineers.  One of our applications is the program, Survey Maker, which is dedicated mostly to the land surveyor. Over the last four years Survey Maker has been developed in co-operation with users and today 228 packages have been sold to land surveyors in Southern Africa. The main functions of the software include the following: all basic survey calculations; cadastral diagrams; working plans; general plans; and calculation plans. All diagrams are set up with templates defined by the user to adhere to specifications of any authority. The software enables users to import town planner layouts in CAD formats; check road width and whether roads are parallel; and check/calculate points on line. Other functionality includes: specialised erven calculations; network adjustment; traverse calculation with bowditch adjustment; double polar; reverse polar; mean co-ordinates; intersections; and transformations including Mean Shift, Helmert, Datum, and Goldfield.  Users are able to export to Google Earth, Model Maker, and Dwg/Dxf/Dgn. Training is done in group sessions at our Gauteng (Centurion), KwaZulu-Natal (Hillcrest) or Cape Town offices.
